A 42-year-old man is set to appear in court next week - after being charged by Cheshire Constabulary in connection with a burglary in Crewe.

The man of no fixed abode, was arrested on Wednesday (July 13) - following a burglary at an address on Jubilee Avenue, Crewe.

Manley has been charged with burglary with intent to steal and has been remanded in custody.

This news follows a police crackdown on burglaries within the Crewe area.

Within the past week, information has been released that four people have been charged with burglaries in Crewe - with three separate incidents.

All are set to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court within the next six weeks.
