On Saturday 17 February, Cheshire Police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man who had gone missing from Leighton Hospital (Alissa Cook-Gray).

A police helicopter circled over Crewe to help find a man who had gone missing from Leighton Hospital, with the operation ending successfully.

On Saturday 17 February, Cheshire Police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man.

Shortly before 6:50pm, a 53-year-old man was reported to have gone missing from Leighton Hospital.

A 53-year-old man was located by police in Crewe at around 9:30pm and transported back to Leighton Hospital (Ryan Parker).

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Shortly before 6.50pm on Saturday 17 February, police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man who had gone missing from Leighton Hospital. 

"Officers conducted a search of the nearby area, assisted by the National Police Air Service (NPAS).

"The 53-year-old man was located and transported back to hospital."
