Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.We remember the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services, and those that have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.
The annual Crewe Remembrance Day event will take place on 8 November 2026 in the Town Centre. This event is for all residents of Crewe who would like to attend. Families and children are welcome.
Crewe Town Council are working in partnership with the Crewe branch of the Royal British Legion to deliver the event. The Royal British Legion is a national network that supports our armed forces community. They are the Country's largest Armed Forces charity with 180,000 members and 110,000 volunteers.
Look out for the knitted poppies appearing across the town centre from 21st October.
Thank you to Creative Crewe and all the volunteers who helped to create this display.
