Every £2 ticket bought for the Crewe Prize Draw is helping to change lives in the town, with hundreds of residents collectively supporting people in need - buy tickets HERE.

The draw, next taking place at 7.30pm on Bonfire Night, has raised £6,765.25 in total for its four charities, with a further £963.81 cheque handed to Chance Changing Lives on Wednesday 4 November.

This takes the total raised for the Crewe charity through the Prize Draw to £1,325.31.

While players have the chance to win the £1,500 top prize every fortnight, their contributions are also helping local charities continue their work.

The latest donation will help Chance Changing Lives support more than 100 families over the month, while also contributing towards its Saturday kitchen for homeless people.

Director of Chance Changing Lives, David Barker, told Nub News: "All the charities partnering with Crewe Nub News and the Crewe Prize Draw are helped so much.

"Having that consistent money coming in means we can really plan and rely on it to put it to good use.

"By buying a ticket, people are putting more money into the community and helping those in need.

"This cheque alone will support over 100 families for the month, potentially even more. A portion will also go towards helping the homeless at our Saturday kitchen.

"Keeping these services ticking over costs a lot of money, so the reliability of having this consistent income is huge for us."

Chance Changing Lives is the fourth official partner of the Crewe Prize Draw, as selected by Swansway Motor Group.

David added: "We are very fortunate to have many people in Crewe helping and thinking of us for donations.

"Inevitably, there will be people who have not heard of us, but by buying these tickets and a portion going to charities, it helps us even further, so keep going with it.

"If anyone has financial vulnerabilities, is homeless, or is on the cusp of homelessness, we help them with not just food, but practical advice.

"We are always keen to give people dignity and respect. We want to highlight that if anyone out there is struggling, you can rely on us."

Supported by Swansway Motor Group, the Crewe Prize Draw gives residents the chance to win £1,500 every fortnight while raising money for local good causes.

Tickets cost £2, with every purchase helping to put money back into the Crewe community.
