THE Lions are the new leaders of the CREWE REGIONAL SUNDAY LEAGUE'S Premier Division after a thumping 9-0 win over Winnington SC.

Deneilson Osigwe claimed a hat-trick and Jordan Amson netted a double for the Crewe side as they took advantage of previous leaders Betley's weekend without a fixture to go a point clear at the top.

Lewis Clark, Shannon Sinnott, Danny Roberts, and Deon Chesters completed the scoring for The Lions.

Elsewhere, Cheshire Cheese beat Broadhurst FC 1-0 thanks to a goal from Aaron Davies.

Raven Salvador and Faddiley played out an entertaining 3-3 draw. Raven Salvador took the lead through a goal from Josh Wynne, but Faddiley led at the break after goals from Adam Newton and Danny Dodd.

Wynne scored again after the break and another from Robsan Osman put the home side ahead, but a very late goal from Craig Parker earned Faddiley a point.

The game between Willaston White Star and George and Dragon was postponed because of a frozen pitch.

Division One leaders Audlem beat JS Bailey 8-3 helped by Will Cork's four-goal haul. Tom Capewell (2), Callum Mese and veteran Andy Betteley completed the scoring.

Ashley Smart, Dan Goward and Greg Bailey netted for JS Bailey.

Second-placed Sandbach Town took a while to break down some spirited defending by bottom club Ruskin Park, but then scored two in two minutes through Lewis Barker.

Barker added another three goals to complete an excellent morning's work, and Tom Cotton scored twice to give the visitors a 7-0 win.

Winsford Over 3 stay in third place after beating Leighton FC 2-0 thanks to a brace from Tom Stanton.

Cooper Buckley move up to fourth place after an emphatic 6-2 victory over C & N Utd with new signings Luke Gillan (2) and Jason McMullan on target, along with Tom Sword (2) and Kallum Boyle. Callum Parker and Jack Cope scored for the visitors.

Princes Feathers beat Nantwich Pirates 2-1, thanks to a Lewis Larkin penalty and a Dean Richards goal.

Only two games were played in the CREWE AND DISTRICT LEAGUE and one of those, the Crewe Wanderers v Crewe Town fixture, was abandoned with 10 minutes to play after a serious injury to a player.

Mary Dendy's home date with FC Bollington was postponed on due to the lack of referee. And Sandbach Curshaws versus AFC Crewe did not take place as AFC Crewe not able to field a team.

In the one game completed Curtis Rogers and Tom Butler hit hat-tricks for Sandbach Town Ramblers as they demolished Sandbach Town 8-1 to go top.

Lee Wakefield and Tim Lamb scored the other goals, while Chris Martin scored the Sandbach Town consolation.
