Work begins on new late night adult gaming centre chain in Crewe
Work has started on a new late night adult gaming centre chain in Crewe, with a target opening date of January for the site.
Admiral Casino, operated by Luxury Leisure, is set to open on Nantwich Road, with works starting at the site this November.
The casino chain has more than 200 gambling venues in the UK, with one already on Victoria Street.
Cheshire East Council approved Admiral's planning application this January, located in the former Harvest Kitchens store.
Admiral will construct a unisex toilet, disabled toilet and kitchen/customer care facility.
There will be elevations to the front of the former kitchens store with new glass doors.
In January, a Cheshire East planning officer said: "The proposed material change of would not cause harm residential/aural amenity issues.
"The attendant operational development proposed would preserve the visual amenity of the area.
"It is therefore found that planning permission should be granted."
Admiral had a second Crewe town centre store on Market Street, which permanently closed in 2020.
The chain's Victoria Street store is open 24 hours, serving food and drinks and showing live sport.
