Woman hospitalised following 'serious' assault from man at Crewe property

A woman is currently in hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted at a house in Crewe, with a man arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
On Saturday 16 August, emergency services were alerted to an incident at an address on Manor Way.
At 7.43am, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service arrived at the scene, discovering a woman badly injured.
Officers arrested a 58-year-old man on suspicious of section 18 assault. He has since been released on bail.

The woman was rushed to Leighton Hospital and remains there at this time.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 7.43am on Saturday 16 August, police were called to reports of an assault at an address in Manor Way.
"A woman had been taken to hospital by paramedics with serious injuries.
"She remains in hospital at this time.

"A 58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault. He has since been released on bail."
