Man found dead at Crewe home following 'concerns for welfare'

A man has been found dead at a property in Crewe, following concerns for his welfare over the weekend.
On Saturday 16 August, Cheshire Police received reports of concern for a man on Brook Street.
At 2.45pm, police and North West Ambulance Service arrived at the Crewe South home, discovering the body of a man inside.
Crime Scene Investigation remained at the scene for several hours.

Officers confirmed the man's death is not being treated as suspicious, with a case file being prepared for the coroner.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 2.45pm on Saturday 16 August police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address on Brook Street.
"Officers attended and a man was found deceased at the property.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious, and a case file will be prepared for the coroner."
