The weather is expected to be very mixed this extended bank holiday weekend.
Sunshine will hit Crewe for at least one day of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Thursday - Beacon light up @ Shavington Primary School
There will be a beacon being lit in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee on the playing fields of Shavington Primary this Thursday (June 2).
The event starts at 8:30pm and the beacon will be lit at 9:45pm.
Refreshments will be served by Woodnoth-cum-Shavington Women's Institute inside St Mark's Church Hall.

Friday - Platinum Jubilee Celebration Event @ Queens Park
There is a huge Platinum Jubilee celebration event at Queens Park this Friday (June 3).
The event consists of two headline acts, Tumblin' Dance and The Gospel Truth Soul Band.
There are also 60 confirmed stalls and attractions, plus food and drink outlets.
This includes: a variety of classic vehicles, stunt acts, live music, face painting and sports activities.

Saturday - Laura and the sax @ Crewe Market Hall
Laura and the sax are performing at Crewe Market Hall this Saturday (June 4).
This act is a highly commended vocalist, teamed up with a superb sax player - bringing together a show like no other in Crewe town centre.
The duo specialise in Old School 90s Dance and Ibiza Club Classics.
The free event starts at 8pm and Crewe Market Hall is open until 11pm.

Sunday - Platinum Jubilee Quiz Night @ The Sacred Orchard
There is a special Platinum Jubilee quiz night at the Sacred Orchard pub, Middlewich Road this Sunday (June 5).
The quiz will be celebrating the platinum jubilee of seventy years of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
Quiz sheets are on sale from 7.30pm for a start at 8.10pm.
There is no limit on the size of your team.

What else is on in and around Crewe this weekend?
- This Friday (June 3), Xclusive will be performing live at The Cosey Club. The 80s party band are performing songs from the synth-pop decade through to modern day. The event starts at 8pm. For more information click HERE.
- Also in Crewe this Friday, Crewe Market Hall is hosting two British tribute acts. Amy Winehouse tribute, Amy In the House and Adele tribute, Skyfall will be performing into the evening. The town centre venue is open until 11pm.
- On Saturday (June 4), The Raven pub are hosting a Platinum Jubilee charity Fundraiser Event. There will be live music, afternoon tea and the pub's regulars on exercise bikes. Money is being raised for The Christie Hospital.
- Coming up this Sunday (June 5), choir and orchestra Last Night at the Hall are performing at Crewe Market Hall. There will be a choral symphony and an opera singer. For more information click HERE.
