The 'Crewe and Cheshire old school ride out' was organised by John Collins from Crewe of the BMX club.

The event was dubbed as 'John's stag-do,' a tribute to his marriage with fiancée Monique - taking place in Crewe this Saturday (June 4).

In celebration, some of the riders wore photomasks of John and Monique during rest breaks.

Event organiser Mr Collins said: "We had an excellent turnout this year, following a very difficult period of over two years for all due to the pandemic.

"Our first-ever ride in 2016 had seventeen riders and we are really pleased with the response to this year's event with one hundred plus riders.

"It was great to see such a wide range of BMX bikes and I hope everyone enjoyed the ride and chat.
