The dark nights are drawing in and the weather isn't up to much - expect lots of rain this weekend but lots of indoor events to go with it.

Crewe Alexandra are away this Friday night travelling to Tranmere Rovers - can they get back to winning ways after two consecutive draws.

The live events have already started this week as Shrek the Musical is at Crewe Lyceum Theatre from Wednesday (October 12) to Sunday (October 16).

The Sicknotes are performing live at The Cosey Club this Friday (October 14).

The band returns to Crewe Market Hall to bring you a smorgasbord of songs from across the decades. 

There will be everything from AC/DC to Pink, Johnny Kidd & The Pirates to U2,

The free event kicks off at 8pm. Crewe Market Hall is open until 11pm.

Sunday - Risky Business @ The Raven

Risky Business will be performing live at The Raven this Sunday (October 16).

The band will be performing the sounds of the 80s at the Brookhouse Drive pub.

Expect classic tunes and a lively atmosphere.
