There's a great Motown night at the Lyceum on Friday as well as a brilliant Sunday afternoon of bands at the Coppenhall Club.

1. The Magic of Motown

Tributes can be a much of a muchness. But certainly not Friday night's (January 14) showstoppers at the Lyceum.

This is one of the most popular touring tributes in the UK and if you love the music of Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and the Four Tops then it promises to be a treat.

You can read more here and how to get tickets

2. Four bands for a fiver

What better way could you spend a Sunday afternoon (January 16) than watching some great local bands with a pint or two in your hand.

The Coppenhall Club in North Street has Flameproof, Tumbling Dice, Gambler and Acoustic HD all on the stage from 3pm.

It could be one not to be missed and all for just £5.

3. John Robinson at Crewe Market Hall

There's more Motown and soul on the Market Hall stage on Friday night with the frontman of The Godfathers of Soul.
