AT Nub News we have launched a weekly round up of what's on in Crewe each weekend.
Every Thursday we bring you our top picks of the events being held in the area that are listed on our What's On section for the coming weekend.
If your business or organisation is running an event, you can advertise it for free with Crewe Nub News. Follow this link to our What's On section and click the black 'Nub It' button.
Unsurprisingly Bonfire Night features highly in our top events for this weekend, along with some great live music at Crewe Market Hall.
1. Crewe and Nantwich Lions Charity Fireworks Display
This has always been one of the highlights of the Crewe ents calendar and was sorely missed last year. Blitz fireworks will be lighting up the night sky again above Queens Park - as well as the lake - so don't miss out on the fun. The gates open at 5pm on Friday (November 5) and ticket details are here. 2. The Godfathers of Soul at Crewe Market HallIf you love Motown and Soul then this should be another great free admission night on Saturday (November 6) at Crewe's vibrant Market Hall.
The band are on stage at 8pm and you can read about them at our What's On section.
3. Ross Noble at the Lyceum Theatre
The stand-up comedian and actor is at the Hill Street venue on Friday (November 5) for a show (8pm) entitled 'Humournoid'. Expect improvised and surreal humour from the man from the Toon who rose to mainstream popularity through his TV appearances on panel shows such as 'Have I Got News for You'. Read about his show and how to get tickets on our What's On listing here. For more local events, follow this link to our What's On page Crewe Nub News What's On Section is sponsored by the White Lion at Weston. Without support from local community-minded businesses like them we would not be able to provide the dedicated local news we do every week. Please support them.
