Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II Crown Estate property was immediately transferred to the new King - Nub News investigates what private land he owns in Crewe.

Real estate assets owned in the new monarch's role as Duke of Lancaster, are found all over the North West - with some in Cheshire.

Duchy of Lancaster land is administered separately. It is intended to produce a source of independent income for the King for his time on the throne.

This private land is administered into eight units known as surveys - with one of them in Crewe.

King Charles III now owns The Cheshire Survey - mainly made up of a large rural estate on the eastern edge of Crewe.

Totalling 3,760 acres, the estate is centred around Crewe Hall and Crewe Hall Farm.

On this rural property, there is an office location made out of covered agricultural buildings - fit for King Charles III.

In total, there are 11 farms owned on this land - all largely involved in the production of dairy and livestock.

The Crewe estate also includes equestrian businesses, rural cottages and farmhouses - as well as private woodland.

Following two unsuccessful planning attempts, developer David Wilson Holmes was finally able to commence construction.

'Sydney Place,' will consist of two- three- and four-bedroom homes, one- and two-bedroom apartments, open space and a large play area.
