A driver has been reported for running a red light, following a two-vehicle collision at a busy junction in Crewe.

On Saturday 20 April, Cheshire Police were alerted to an incident on Flag Lane.

Officers arrived at the scene, discovering two vehicles had collided at the junction with Wistaston Road.

No one was injured in the collision incident, with Flag Lane cleared around 40 minutes later (Ryan Parker).

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 9am on Saturday 20 April, police were called to reports of a collision on Flag Lane. 

"Officers attended and found there had been a collision between two vehicles.

"A driver was reported for running a red light.

No arrests were made, but a driver was reported for running a red light (Cheshire Police).

"There were no reports of any injuries and the scene was cleared by 9:40am."
