Two checked for smoke inhalation following 'accidental' Crewe house fire

Two people were checked for possible smoke inhalation following an accidental fire at a house in Crewe.
On Friday 2 October, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to an incident on Chambers Street.
At 8.17am, two fire engines from Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering smoke inside a property.
The fire was caused by an item being left on a hob, with Crewe firefighters clearing the smoke with a high pressure fan.
Everyone was accounted for, with two people advised to seek precautionary medical checks.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters attended an accidental fire caused by an item left on a hob, which resulted in moderate smoke logging within the property.
"The crew cleared the smoke using the high pressure fan.
"All occupants were safely accounted for.
"Two people were advised to seek precautionary medical checks due to possible smoke inhalation."
