Three Crewe men charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs
Detectives from Cheshire Constabulary have charged eight people following a series of successful raids - including three men from Crewe.
Yesterday, Thursday (November 10), officers from across the force conducted searches at ten homes in Crewe, Sandbach and Merseyside.
Nine people were arrested and following questioning, eight have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
The ninth person has since been released under investigation.
All eight were remanded into custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court today Friday (November 11).
Three of the eight defendants are men from Crewe:
- Alexander Sinclaire, 26, of Hungerford Road, Crewe.
- Merold Earl Stennett, 43, of Peter Place, Crewe.
- Russel Schofield, 32, of Pelican Close, Crewe.
The other five defendants are:
- William Gooley, 38, of Hankey Drive, Bootle.
- Shadat Kogolo, 27, of Sandbach.
- Daley Smith, 33, of Summer Drive, Sandbach.
- William Sutherland, 61, of Edmonton Close, Liverpool.
- Andrew Williams, 38, Chirkdale Street, Liverpool.
The charges relate to alleged county lines drug dealing between Cheshire and Merseyside.
