A dessert and retro arcade diner in Crewe has started serving alcohol, following the recent approval of a premises licence application.

Waffle and More, Nantwich Road, began selling bottled beers and wines on Friday 16 August.

The venue, which launched in the former Kaspa's unit this June, is serving alcoholic drinks from 12pm to 10pm, seven days a week.

Waffle and More's bottle beer includes Budweiser, Corona and Peroni. Its wines include Blossom Hill, Rose, Red and White (Nub News).

Established by Mr Alan Wright during Covid times, Waffle and More grew to its fifth location in Crewe this summer.

The Nantwich Road outlet is operated by franchise owner Puneet.

Seating up to 80 people, Waffle and More serves an extensive waffles, ice creams and sundaes menu, alongside a range of other desserts, milkshakes and smoothies.

It also offers a food menu, including burgers, hotdogs, chicken nuggets, nachos and fries, vegan options, a children's menu and pick and mix.

Waffle and More has a retro arcade with over 20 machines, including the likes of Dance Dance Revolution, Space Invaders and Street Fighter (Ryan Parker).

It also offers a number of private party and after-school packages, along with deals for families to enjoy food and its arcade.

Puneet told Nub News: "From Friday 16 August, Waffle and More has started selling a selection of bottled beers and wines in our Crewe store.

"Alcohol is being served from 12pm till 10pm, seven days a week.

"If you haven't tried us yet now is the time. Waffle and More has something for people of all ages."
