On July 31, a white Mini Cooper and a silver Mercedes C200 collided with one another, on Flag Lane, at its junction with Delamere Street.

The Mercedes also crashed into the front of a house, causing structural damage to the property.

At the time, the occupants of the affected house told Nub News they were waiting to see if it was safe to stay in. It has not been repaired since.
