The stand's new name marks the continuation of a local partnership between Crewe Alexandra and Swansway Motor Group, two organisations with deep roots in the town.

The lively EFL League Two game saw Crewe come out on top in front of over 5,700 fans, with families in the renamed stand enjoying a rollercoaster afternoon of goals and excitement.

Swansway said: "It was the perfect way to celebrate the new Swansway Family Stand, a brilliant result and a great atmosphere.

"Crewe Alexandra is such an important part of our community and it's fantastic to see local families enjoying the match together."

The new signage, which was recently unveiled at Mornflake Stadium, reflects the shared community values between the club and the Crewe-base dfamily car dealer, which has part of the town for over two decades.

Crewe are at home again on Saturday 1 November (3pm), hosting Doncaster in the FA Cup.
