Haslington Cricket Club is gearing up for its bonfire and fireworks spectacular, returning once again for 2025.

Taking place at the Clay Lane venue on Saturday 8 November, gates will open at 5.30pm, with the bonfire lit at 7pm - and the fireworks display beginning at 8pm.

Organisers say preparations are well underway, with volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver another memorable evening.

Tickets are on sale now, with Haslington Cricket Club encouraging residents to purchase them in advance to help reduce congestion and allow organisers to plan more effectively.

Tickets will also be available on the night, priced at £10 for adults, £8 for children and children under two free. A family ticket for two adults and two children is £30.

This year's event will include a food court, licensed bar, fairground attractions, and entertainment provided by AO Events.

The club's chief bonfire builder, Tris, is already assembling the structure with the help of generous donations from local businesses.

The club has confirmed all necessary animal and wildlife welfare checks will be completed before the bonfire is lit, ensuring the event remains safe and responsible.
