Coronation Street, linking Henry Street with Elm Drive, closed at 8am on Monday 27 October.

The Crewe East road is now closed between 8am and 5pm until Wednesday 29 October.

Cheshire East Highways are responsible for the closure, allowing the road surface to be repaired.

Coronation Fish Bar has urged customers to park on the side street and enter on foot until the roadworks end (Ryan Parker).

Emergency access will be maintained where possible, as well as access for residents. Footpaths are unaffected.

Coronation Fish Bar, situated on the road, said: "Due to the road closure, please park on the side street and enter on foot.

"We appreciate your understanding."

If you have any enquiries relating to the works, please contact Cheshire East Highways on 0300 123 5020.
