Friday & Saturday - Annie @ Crewe Lyceum Theatre

Annie is live at Crewe Lyceum Theatre on Friday 22 August and Saturday 23 August (Crewe Lyceum).

Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie is the beloved, high-energy musica capturing the hearts of audiences worldwide for generations and was the winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Set in the 1930s during the Great Depression, Annie tells the inspiring story of a courageous orphan girl who refuses to give up on finding her real family, no matter the odds.

With the help of her lovable dog, Sandy, and a cast of unforgettable characters, Annie embarks on a journey that transforms her life and the lives of those around her. 

Performances are at 7.30pm on Friday and 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday. For tickets click HERE.

Last time they played here the atmosphere was explosive this is guaranteed to be even bigger this weekend.

Saturday, Sunday & Monday - Discover Crewe-on-Sea  @ Lyceum Square

Discover Crewe-on-Sea, a free, family-friendly seaside experience is taking place from Saturday 23 August to Monday 25 August (Discover Crewe).

Discover Crewe-on-Sea, a free, family-friendly seaside experience is taking place from Saturday 23 August to Monday 25 August.

Brought to you by Crewe Town Council and sponsored by Crewe Business Improvement District (BID), Discover Crewe-on-Sea will take place across Lyceum Square.

The event forms part of Crewe Town Council's wider Summer Festival of Fun and will transform the square into a colourful coastal pop-up, complete with real sand, a beach hut and boat, buckets and spades, and plenty of hands-on entertainment.

Running from 11am to 4pm each day, visitors can relax in deckchairs, get involved in craft workshops and enjoy live performances throughout the weekend.

As well as animating the town centre and supporting local businesses, Discover Crewe-on-Sea will include a themed trail linking the town's three Business Improvement District zones.
