A new coffee house is set to open in Crewe town centre this November, taking on a former fightwear clothing store.

Big Mugs will be launching at 251 Edleston Road, previously occupied by Octagon, on Friday 22 November.

The coffee business will be serving a variety of drinks, cakes and more.

Big Mugs has applied for the Open in Crewe scheme, offering capital grants of up to £30,000 for businesses taking on leases on vacant town premises.

Big Mugs will be launching at 251 Edleston Road, previously occupied by Octagon, within the next few weeks (Nikki G).

Big Mugs told Nub News: "Hi Crewe. We are hoping to open within the next two weeks if all goes well.

"Our coffee house will be located at 251 Edleston Road."
