A new restaurant opening in Crewe has applied for permission to open until 1am, seven days a week.

On Friday 21 March, Instanbul Restaurant Crewe Ltd submitted a premises license application on behalf of 230-232 Edleston Road to Cheshire East Council.

Istanbul Restaurant seeks permission for the supply of alcohol, 9am to 1am, and late night refreshment 11pm to 1am, Monday to Sunday.

The licensing application is on display at the Crewe unit, occupied by Total Tile and Bathrooms until January 2024 (Ryan Parker).

It also seeks to provide recorded music from 9am to midnight, seven days a week.

Istanbul Restaurant's premises license application reads: "Notice is hereby given that we, Istanbul Restaurant Crewe Ltd have applied on 21 March 2025 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as Istanbul Restaurant Crewe, 230-232 Edleston Road, Crewe.

"This for a premises licence to provide the following activities:

"Recorded music, Monday to Sunday, 9am to 12am. Late night refreshment, Monday to Sunday, 11pm to 1am and supply of alcohol, Monday to Sunday, 9am to 1am."

Representations to Istanbul Restaurant's application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Friday 18 April.
