New women's clothing shop opens in Crewe town centre
A new women's Turkish clothing shop has opened in Crewe town centre, in an expansion of a jewellery shop a few doors down.
J&N Boutique, Queensway, launched at 12.30pm on Thursday 13 March, operated by Jozef Kondas, from Slovakia, who lives in Crewe.
Named after Jozef's two sons, Joseph, 10, and Nicolas, five, J&N Boutique opened less than seven months after J&N Jewellery launched in the town.
Selling just women's clothing for now, J&N aims to offer men's and children's items in the future.
A J&N spokesperson told Nub News: "It was great to open on Queensway this March, expanding from J&N Jewellery.
"We sell a variety of Tatu and Paparazzi Fashion women's clothes. We go to Turkey all the time and these clothes are popular.
"We believe there is a market for this type of shop in Crewe. There really aren't many clothing shops in the town.
"Going forward we are looking at selling more clothes stock here, including jeans and maybe men's and children's clothes.
"But this will be done in good time. We need good suppliers who we can trust. It is early days at the moment and just women's clothing for now.
"On opening day we were busy. It was encouraging to see.
"Trade has been steady since but we are hoping to get our name out there more."
J&N Boutique is open 9am to 5pm (Monday to Saturday).
