Work has been going on at the site for the past month, with the Turkish restaurant looking set to open in early 2025.

The development will include a new restaurant seating area for over 40 people and an open kitchen, as well as additional utility spaces.

These will consist of a cold room, utility room, separate male and female toilets, and an extraction canopy for the kitchen to manage ventilation.

The main entrance to the unit will be repositioned, with a second door constructed on the front elevation.

A design and access statement reads: "The proposed Turkish restaurant will offer a dining option for the local community, contributing to the social and cultural diversity of the area.

"By introducing a new dining venue, the project supports community engagement and adds to the vibrancy of the neighbourhood, enhancing the social experience for residents and visitors.

"Converting the ground floor to a restaurant is expected to positively impact the local economy by creating jobs and attracting customers.
