Restaurant planning to open until midnight at old Crewe pub
By Ryan Parker 26th May 2026
A new restaurant coming to Crewe this summer is planning to open until midnight, seven days a week.
Aladdin's Pizza has submitted a premises licence to Cheshire East Council on behalf of 71 Nantwich Road, formerly The Brunswick Hotel.
The takeaway chain, which currently operates in the likes of Stafford, Wolverhampton, Cannock and Wednesbury, will be opening its 16th branch in Crewe in the coming weeks.
Serving the likes of pizza, burgers, brisket, fish and chips, kebabs and milkshakes, Aladdin's has been working on the Nantwich Road site since spring.
The Brunswick has been closed since June 2023, with plans approved for the new eatery in January 2026.
The premises licence application reads: "Notice is hereby given that I, Uwais Abdul Hamid T/A Aladdin's Pizza have applied on 20 May 2026 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as Aladdins, 71 Nantwich Road, Crewe.
"This is for a premises licence to provide the following licensable activities: Late Night Refreshment, Monday to Sunday, 11pm to 12am.
Representations to Aladdin's application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Wednesday 17 June.
You can also submit your representation by emailing: [email protected].
