A popular Crewe pub is set to trial opening its doors earlier to the public seven days per week - offering breakfast and bottomless tea and coffee.

The Hop Pole, Wistaston Road, will be trialling 9:30am openings from Monday (January 16) - two and a half hours earlier than before.

Managed by landlord, Andrew Pearse and landlady, Rebecca Austin, this pub boasts Crewe's largest beer garden.

The Hop Pole will be serving breakfast with free tea and coffee as straight as its doors open to guests.

Miss Austin told Nub News: "The authorities have given us the opportunity to have an earlier licence as there is no other pub within our catchment area open for breakfast.

"If you pay two pounds you can have bottomless tea and coffee.

"This would give a lot of locals time to catch up without having to walk, catch the bus or drive into town.

"Breakfast will be served from 9.30am until 2:00pm with alcohol served from 11:00am.

"Gluten free and vegetarian options are also available to target all clientele."

Breakfast is served with free tea and coffee. Customers can go bottomless on hot drinks for an additional two pounds.

The Hop Pole will be offering craft sessions for children on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the winter.

There will be morning sessions from 9:30am to 11:00am and afternoon sessions from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.

Miss Austin added: "We hope this gives locals a great opportunity to catch up, take grandparents or parents out or recharge from the school run.

"This would also be great in the school holidays as we are offering craft sessions for children throughout the winter months."
