A popular online dessert business is set to open a new cheesecake and smoothie shop in Crewe town centre, after signing a tenancy agreement on Friday 22 August.

JjSweetz will be opening at 2 Market Street this autumn, operating a Subway-style counter with two separate sections to the shop.

Operated by Crewe resident, Samii Riaz, JjSweetz recently launched on Deliveroo and has been booming with delivery orders on social media for the past 12 months.

One side of the new shop will be a topping station for Jjsweetz's in-demand cheesecakes, with the other a frozen fruit section for its new smoothies and Acai bowl menu.

Samii told Nub News: "It honestly feels so surreal and a dream to be saying we are opening our own shop in Crewe town centre.

"On our one-year anniversary i decided to take the biggest chance and put the deposit down on the shop which has always been a dream of mine.

"The plan is to have a subway-style counter with two sections to the shop.

"On one side we will have loads of toppings which customers can choose exactly what they want going on our famous cheesecake, Matilda cake or brownie and it will be made inf ront of them.

"On the other side we will have a frozen fruit topping fridge where you will be able to choose exactly what fruit you want going into a smoothie or Acai bowl, again made directly in front of you.

"I chose the unit because it is on Market Street, there is a lot of footfall and it is just perfect for what we need it for and the ideas we have."
