A popular new Crewe town centre market has confirmed it will return with an 'even bigger' event next month - following its success on Mother's Day.

Crewe Makers Market, located on Market Square, Market Street and Victoria Street - enjoyed an 'absolutely incredible turnout' on Sunday 19 March.

The new event ran from 11am until 4pm - with over 50 different stalls taking part.

A number of food traders sold out at the market within two hours - proving a big hit with local residents.

Following the success of the March event, Crewe Makers Market has confirmed it will return for an 'even bigger' event in April.

A statement from 19 March on social media read: "Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see us and support us today, absolutely incredible turnout.

"Our food stall holders sold out really fast today so will be bringing more with them next month.

Following the success of the March event, Crewe Makers Market has confirmed it will return for an 'even bigger' event in April (Crewe Makers Market).

"Apologies to anyone who missed out, the success of today just goes to prove how much something like this is wanted in town and we couldn't be more thankful to you all.

"We will be back next month even bigger and are all so excited this will be a new monthly market in Crewe."

Crewe Makers Market takes place on the third Sunday of every month throughout 2023.

The town centre 'community' event plans to host more food stalls for its next visit - with over 50 bookings confirmed already.

Crewe Makers Market will next be held in Market Square, Market Street and Victoria Street on Sunday 16 April (Crewe Makers Market).

A social media statement on Tuesday 22 March, added: "We have had over 50 bookings for the next months market within one day, which is incredible.

"The next market will take place on Sunday 16 April.We will be bigger and expect a lot more food at the market, no two hour sell outs this time.

"If you are a community project, singer, creative, workshop that would like to get involved to showcase at the market please get in touch.

"We want this monthly community market to be the very best it can be and a monthly celebration of this fabulous town.

Crewe Makers Market takes place on the third Sunday of every month throughout 2023 (Ryan Parker).

"We can't thank you enough for your support."

Crewe Makers Market will next be held in Market Square, Market Street and Victoria Street on Sunday 16 April.
