A popular South African music artist who regularly performs around Crewe, is set to release her 'bubbly' new single this week.
Kelley Tigerheart, releases "Gaslight Me" on Friday 1 September, available worldwide on all major streaming platforms.
Tigerheart, made a name from extensive gigging across venues all over the UK, with her covers of popular hits even taking her to cruise work.
The 27-year-old is currently preparing for something different with an upcoming album slated for a 2024 release.
"Gaslight Me" was produced and co-written by Marc Gallagher, who had previously worked with TigerHeart on her singles such as "Afraid of Love" and "Sugar".
Mr Gallagher said: "Kelley is a delight to write with, she was just bursting with ideas and this song was created effortlessly.
"Her vocal talents really make this song and capture the cheeky flavour we intended when we made this song.
"Gaslight Me is a bubbly, upbeat take on the unfortunate issue of toxic relationships and how trauma bonds may convince a partner to stay in one.
"The juxtaposition of the dark, serious topic mixed with the 'doo-wop', upbeat sound of the song is intriguing and catchy, drawing stylistic comparisons to early Meghan Trainor and Mika."
After moving to the UK in 2019, TigerHeart performed her very first paid gig at Crewe Market Hall in 2022.
The singer has recently exercised her songwriting abilities at Songwriting Retreats, manifested in her recent singles and an album on the horizon.
On the new single "Gaslight Me," Tigerheart said: "The issue dealt with by many co-dependent couples can be brought to light with a catchy tune and the relatable lyrics heard in the song."
Tigerheart enjoys performing at lots of different locations, including venues in Cheshire, Staffordshire, Manchester and Liverpool.
The music artist has a soft spot for Crewe and plans to perform in the town for many years to come,
Tigerheart will be performing live at The Cheese Hall, Earle Street on Saturday 2 September at 9pm.
