Popular Crewe town centre venue permanently extends opening hours

A popular Crewe town centre venue has permanently extended its opening hours - allowing extra time for a 'post-work catch-up.'

On Sunday 7 May, Crewe Market Hall, Earle Street, confirmed it would be extending its Wednesday opening hours by one hour to 7pm every week.

The Crewe town centre venue has been closing on 6pm on Wednesdays ever since it re-launched in May 2021.

Crewe Market Hall, Earle Street, is open until 7pm from Wednesday 10 May (Ryan Parker).

This hour extension comes into effect on Wednesday 10 May - allowing visitors to enjoy an extra hour after work.

A Crewe Market Hall social media statement read: "Attention all. We have updated our opening hours.

"Starting next week [May 10], Crewe Market Hall will be open until 7pm on Wednesdays to give you that little extra time for your post-work catch-up.

"So, don't forget to swing by and say hello."

Crewe Market Hall's Wednesday extension has been well received by visitors to the venue (Crewe Market Hall).

Crewe Market Hall has confirmed it is looking at potentially extending its opening hours on other days within the coming months.

Currently, in the the week, the venue is open 8:30am to 2:00pm for Mini Beans Coffee only (Monday and Tuesday), 8:30am to 7:00pm (Wednesday), 8;30am to 9:00pm (Thursday) and 8:30am to 11:00pm (Friday).

On weekends, Crewe Market Hall is open 8:30am to 11:00pm (Saturday) and 10:30am to 7:00pm (Sunday).

Crewe Market Hall's Wednesday extension has been well received by visitors to the venue.

Crewe Market Hall has confirmed it is looking at potentially extending its opening hours on other days within the coming months (Ryan Parker).

Regular visitor, Joy Woolrich, said: "Glad of the 7pm close starting from Wednesday.

"Lots of people going to Crewe Lyceum Theatre will be glad of this."
