Police rush to control traffic following two-car collision in West End of Crewe

Cheshire Police officers rushed to step in and control traffic - following a two-car collision in the West End of Crewe.

The incident on West Street, close to the junction with Minshull New Road, happened at 7:21pm on Thursday 2 March.

Police officers arrived to find that a silver Renault Clio and a Red Vauxhall Corsa had collided with one another.

There were no reports of any injuries sustained from the West Street collision (Google).

The silver Renault Clio suffered major damage to the front the vehicle.

There were no reports of any injuries sustained from the incident.

On Friday (March 3), Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.

A spokesperson said: "At 7.21pm on Thursday 2 March, police were called to a minor collision on West Street.

"The incident involved a silver Renault Clio and a Red Vauxhall Corsa.

Police officers arrived to find that a silver Renault Clio and a Red Vauxhall Corsa had collided with one another on West Street (Google).

"There were no reports of any injuries."

A local resident told Nub News there had also been a collision on West Street the day before (Wednesday 1 March) - involving a bike.
