Police respond after three vehicles collide on busy Crewe road

Cheshire Police were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision in Crewe, with the busy road shut for around 45 minutes.

On Tuesday 7 January, officers received reports of an incident on Crewe Green Road, close to Apollo Buckingham Health Sciences Campus.

At 2.46pm, police and North West Ambulance Service arrived at the scene, discovering a collision involving three vehicles.

Officers closed one lane of Crewe Road, between Crewe Railway Station and Electra Way Roundabout, while dealing with the incident.

No one was injured in the collision, with no arrests made. Crewe Green Road was cleared by 3.30pm (Cheshire Police).

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 2.46pm on Tuesday 7 January, police were called to a collision on Crewe Green Road, Crewe.

"The collision involved three vehicles, there were no reports of any injuries and the scene was cleared by 3.30pm."
