Police raid Crewe property to uncover 96-plant cannabis factory

Cheshire Police raided another residential property in Crewe South, uncovering a cannabis factory with almost 100 plants.

On Monday 24 February, officers carried out a drugs warrant at an address on Frances Street.

Police found a cannabis farm, removing 96 plants and growing equipment from the property.

No arrests have been made at this time, with officers appealing for information and footage from the public.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Crewe Beat Team carried out a drugs warrant on Monday 24 February at an address on Frances Street.

"We removed 96 plants, believed to be cannabis, as well as growing equipment before securing the property.

"While no arrests have been made at this time, people have been living in the premises.

"As part of our investigation we're keen to hear from any local residents who believe they may have seen anything suspicious.

"The same goes for anyone with any CCTV footage, which may aid the investigation.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police by visiting the website or via 101 and quoting IML-2033974."
