Cheshire Police officers rushed to a three-vehicle collision in Crewe after it "blocked" a bypass within the town.

The incident on A534 Haslington bypass, between Wheelock and Haslington, happened at 4:13pm on Tuesday 23 May.

Police officers arrived to find three vehicles had collided with one another - blocking the carriageway.

No one is thought to have been injured in the three-vehicle accident (Cheshire Police).

The Haslington bypass was closed for just over one hour - reopening at 5:15pm.

"At 4:13pm on Tuesday 23 May, police were called to a collision on the Haslington bypass between Wheelock and Haslington.

"The collision involved three cars which had then blocked the carriageway.

The A534 Haslington bypass was closed for just over one hour - reopening at 5:15pm (Google).

"No one is thought to have been injured. The road reopened at 5.15pm."

The Haslington bypass collision heavily impacted traffic on the A500 - with Crewe Green roundabout towards the carriageway being closed for an hour.
