Cheshire Police dealt with a late night incident on a Crewe street, following reports of a "disagreement" in the town.

On Sunday 7 January, officers were dispatched to to deal with a dispute on Edleston Road, close to the junction with Stalbridge Road.

At around 3am, police arrived at the scene, attempting to calm people down.

Officers were successful in breaking up the Edleston Road argument, with no one committing any offences (Nub News).

Police left the scene around 15 minutes later, without making any arrests.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 3am on Sunday 7 January, police were called to reports of an altercation on Edleston Road.

"Officers attended and found that there had been a disagreement between a number of people.

Cheshire Police were at the scene for around 15 minutes, making no arrests (Nub News).

"There were no reports of any offences and no arrests were made."
