Police appeal for witnesses to M6 crash near Crewe in which lorry driver died

POLICE are appealing for witnesses and video footage after a fatal collision on the M6 near to Crewe.

A white HGV collided with the central reservation on the southbound carriageway between junction 17 at Sandbach and junction 16 at Crewe at 4.41pm yesterday (January 11).

The driver of the HGV, a man in his 60s, died at the scene. There were no other vehicles involved in the incident.

Cheshire Police say they are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage which can help the investigation.
