Police appeal for witnesses a fortnight after Crewe collision left driver 'fighting for life'

POLICE are seeking witnesses to come forward two weeks after a road collision in Crewe left a motorist fighting for his life.

The man, who is his 20s, was making his way along Groby Road in a white Hyundai when it was in collision with a black Ford Fiesta between the junctions of Stoneley Road and Warmingham Road just before 7.30am on Wednesday, July 28.

At the time Cheshire Police said the driver was taken to hospital with "serious and life-threatening injuries".

Officers have renewed their appeal for anyone who may have been in the area at around the time of the collision or may have captured dashcam of the vehicles involved to come forward.
