CREWE Lyceum Theatre is launching a brand new Youth Theatre for January 2022.

Open to ages 8 to 13, the initiative is an opportunity for young people to gain skills in drama, develop performance experience, build confidence and get creative in Crewe's Edwardian theatre.

The new Youth Theatre forms an integral part of a new Creative Learning and Engagement Department, which aims to create a wide array of opportunities for the community to get involved with.

Current activity also includes an adult choir, holiday clubs for children and a young leaders programme for teenagers.

The Youth Theatre sessions will be taking place every Saturday morning during term time from 10am to 12 midday at the Lyceum Theatre Studio.

Interested participants can book via the website for the first term running from January to April 2022.
