A new "quality" workwear clothing design store has opened on the edge of Crewe town centre, offering customisation on all of its products.

22WorkWear, Edleston Road, officially opened on Saturday 7 October, following months of works to get the business up and running.

The new printing and embroidery shop is operated by Mr Cristi Bugnariu, from Romania, who has lived in the town for seven years.

22WorkWear is operated by Mr Cristi Bugnariu, from Romania, who has lived in Crewe since 2016 (Ryan Parker).

Mr Bugnariu told Nub News: "We are selling workwear which can be embroidered and printed for any business or individual.

"Whether customers would like a customised t-shirt, hoodie, or jacket, we can add a logo, photo and text specifically for them.

"During Covid, I was thinking about running my own business and the idea of embroidery came to my mind.

"It has taken about three years to get this shop open with all the planning. I acquired this unit back in February."

22WorkWear was formerly occupied by home furniture store, Hidden Treasurz, which closed down in 2022.

22WorkWear sells customised t-shirts, hoodies and jackets, offering customers the chance to add a logo, photo and text to the clothing, specifically for them (Ryan Parker).

The new business is aiming to impress its customers from the start, offering a quick and simple service.

Mr Bugnariu said: "When customers come into our store, it is very simple for them to make an order and we will make it in the quickest time possible.

"Customers can find everything they need for their workwear.

"We are a small business that has just started.

"We can offer good quality work clothing with our excellent embroidery machines and printers.

"If customers don't see the kind of clothing they want inside, we will try our best to get what they want ordered in.

"We are still making a few changes to make our customer experience the best it can be."

The business owner is fond of Crewe and believes things are on the up in the area, despite the recent setbacks.

Mr Bugnariu added: "I like Crewe. I think it is a good town with a kind community.

22WorkWear is open 9am until 5pm (Monday to Friday) and 10am to 3pm (Saturday) (Ryan Parker).

"It is not the biggest place in the world compared to the big cities but there are a fair amount of things here and things will get better.

"The new town centre will look amazing and hopefully it will improve the mood in the area."
