New jewellery store opens in Crewe town centre

A new jewellery shop has officially launched in Crewe town centre, with the business open six days a week.

J&N Jewellery, Queensway, opened at 10am on Monday 19 August, with eager customers checking out what is inside.

The business, which has a Facebook page with 6,100 followers, is owned by Mr Josef Kondas, 32, from Slovakia.

J&N Jewellery sells the likes of rings, bracelets and necklaces and is located inside the former Humbugs Traditional Sweet Shop.

A social media statement read: "We are pleased to announce today (August 19), we have officially opened our jewellery shop.

"We cordially invite you to visit us and celebrate this special day with us. We look forward to your visit today."

Either side of J&N Jewellery is the vacant Card Express unit and Timpson, which has been in business on Queensway for decades.

J&N Jewellery is open from 10am to 5pm (Monday to Saturday).
