A new health and beauty shop is set to open inside the former Crewe Chronicle town centre office - following major redevelopment works at the long-derelict site.
Studio Fresh, High Street, is set to open on Saturday 1 July - offering customers 15 per cent off booked nail appointments on the day.
"With upcoming developments in the High Street area over the next couple of years, I am thrilled to be a part of this growing community, said owner, Dale Stathacopoulos.
Mrs Stathacopoulos, from South Africa, currently lives in Haslington with her husband and two children.
The 35-year-old believes Crewe is "an exciting place" to open up a business right now - with multiple development projects taking place.
Mrs Stathacopoulos told Nub News: "After a year of scouting, I have decided that Crewe is a prime location for Studio Fresh.
"The High Street area has a large market for what I have to offer, and it just feels like the perfect place to call Studio Fresh's home.
"Cheshire East's ambitious redevelopment plans for Crewe town make it an exciting place to be right now.
"I hail from South Africa, and my family and I migrated over four and a half years ago.
"Since then, I've always had the goal of opening my own studio, but several obstacles, including Covid, stood in my way.
"It finally feels like the right time to make my dream a reality."
Studio Fresh is offering a variety of services to customers - including nail treatments (acrylic and gel).
It also offers semi-permanent make up (brows, eyes and lips) and ultimate skin care (micro-needling, dermaplaning and chemical peels).
Future expansion of Studio Fresh's services will be based on demand.
Mrs Stathacopoulos said: "After two decades of experience in nail artistry, I've taken the leap, studied further and expanded my expertise to semi-permanent makeup and skincare.
"After three long years of hard work, I'm thrilled to say that my business is finally up and running.
"I started out small, offering mobile solutions and doing nails from home, but it wasn't sustainable while raising a family.
"Everything has finally fallen into place and opening my dream studio now feels absolutely right.
"As a solo practitioner, my top priority is providing the highest quality one-on-one treatments for my clients.
"I want to stay focused on my area of expertise and ensure that each client receives my undivided attention."
Unlike other beauty studios, Studio Fresh is a one-person operation - something Mrs Stathacopoulos believes to be a selling point.
The shop owner promised all customers who give the business a try are guaranteed to "leave satisfied."
Studio Fresh is the first of three new units created from the conversion of the former Crewe Chronicle office.
The new shop is located opposite the approved Southern Gateway Pedestrian and Cycling Connectivity Scheme - set to connect High Street to Crewe Lifestyle Centre.
Mrs Stathacopoulos added: "I believe the efforts of Cheshire East and Crewe Town Council will significantly impact Crewe's development.
"While some may not favour the changes, I wholeheartedly believe that it is the way forward and the future.
"I am confident the regeneration will be a great success for our own. How lucky am I to be apart of it."
Studio Fresh's initial opening times are 3pm to 7pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) and 9am to 7pm (Thursday and Saturday).
To book an appointment, call or direct message Studio Fresh on 07576467540.
