A new Crewe Greggs and Dunkin' Donuts development has launched at a Crewe service station - following one month of alterations work.

Greggs opened a new store inside Shell Service Station, Bradfield Road, at 6am on Thursday 13 April - one day earlier than planned.

The bakery chain launched alongside a new Dunkin' Donuts counter - as confirmed by service station staff.

A Dunkin' Donuts counter and a Hershey's/Reece's slush machine are now operational (Ryan Parker).

On Thursday 13 April, Greggs confirmed it has opened a new Crewe store - operated by franchise partner MFG.

A Greggs spokesperson told Nub News: "Greggs has opened a new store in Crewe, operated by our franchise partner, MFG.

"We welcome Greggs fans and new customers to come try our range of tasty bakes, hot drinks and sweet treats."

Work has been taking place inside the Crewe Shell Service Station since the beginning of March - carried out by Cold Developments Ltd.

Shell Service Station petrol station was closed for one week - allowing major interior and exterior works to take place.

The 24-hour Londis shop closed for a longer period with fuel payments taken from the side wall.

Greggs's Shell Service Station store has become its sixth store in the Crewe area - operating seven days per week.

It also operates on Market Street, Beswick Drive, Jack Mills Way, Newcastle Road and Weston Road.

The Bradfield Road shop is Greggs' first unit in the Coppenhall side of Crewe.

Greggs is open 6am to 6pm (Monday to Saturday) and 7am to 4pm (Sunday).
