New dessert and arcade chain to open in Crewe next month
A new dessert and retro arcade restaurant chain is set to open on a busy road in Crewe next month, taking on the former Kaspa's Desserts unit.
Waffles and More will be launching on Nantwich Road this June, becoming the outlet's fourth location.
Owned and run by Alan Wright, the family-owned business will offer a 'budget-friendly' experience, as well as unlimited access to a coin-free arcade.
Customers can expect a mixture of half-new and half-retro machines, including the likes of Dance Dance Revolution and Space Invaders.
Waffles and More will serve an extensive waffles, ice creams and sundaes menu, alongside a range of other desserts, milkshakes and smoothies.
It will also offer a food menu, including burgers, hotdogs, chicken nuggets, nachos and fries, with vegan options and a children's menu.
Waffles and More will off a number of party packages, along with deals for families to enjoy food and its arcade.
With sites already in Harlow, Hackney and Corby, the chain's new Crewe store will be closely followed by openings in Worcestershire and Rugby.
Waffles and More will open in Crewe, just four months after Kaspa's Desserts abruptly closed.
The store, which opened in September 2018 shut after bailiffs took enforcement action on the building.
In March, Kaspa's told Nub News it would be reopening its Nantwich Road branch, but this never materialised.
