Work has started on a new burger and pizza restaurant in Crewe town centre, formerly occupied by Topshop.

Smash-on-Trent is now set to open on Queensway in 2026, offering both eat-in and takeaway.

With locations in Burslem and Fenton, the new Crewe restaurant will also offer 'Barney's Detroit-Style Pizza' with ground floor and first floor customer seating and toilets.

An extraction unit will also be constructed, along with two illuminated signs at the front of the unit.
