New Crewe shop opens in 'good spot' opposite Grand Junction Retail Park

A new Crewe tanning, aesthetics and beauty business has opened in a "good spot," opposite the town's Grand Junction Retail Park.
Radiance Personified, Earle Street, officially opened on Friday 18 August, replacing the vacant former S.J Adams & CO Insurance business.
The new business is run by partners Julie Iveson (fully-trained aesthetician) and Damian Reed (Experienced businessman), both from Weston, employing four members of staff.
"We believe being opposite the retail park will have a positive effect on the business. We jumped at the opportunity," said Mr Reed.
Radiance Personified had been operating as a home-based business for several years, with Ms Iveson working from a garden room (at their family home).
The tanning salon has one stand-up sunbed (ground floor) and four lay down sunbeds (one on the ground floor and three on the first floor), continuing to offer aesthetics, beauty treatments and semi-permanent make-up.
Mr Reed told Nub News: "This business has been trading for several years now. My partner [Julie], is a trained aesthetician, and had been operating from our home,
"She has built a good client base from there, giving us the need to find a unit to operate our business from in Crewe.
"This unit came up for sale, opposite the Grand Junction Retail Park, which we believed was a great spot.
"There were a number of people interested in this unit, it was our willingness from the start that helped us to purchase it in July 2022.
"We opened this business to make ourselves more professional having our own shop and to improve Crewe itself.
"Having this shop makes one less empty unit. We took a rundown building and brought it back to life."
Radiance Personified offers online book-in and walk-in appointments.
It is also a leader in cosmetic injectable and rejuvenation treatments.
"Our goal is to grow a successful business that does everything compliantly. Doing everything the correct way is the key for us.
"When it comes to treatments, we want to give the right advice to customers. We won't just do them for the sake of it.
"It's all about listening to what the customer wants and try to find the best solution for their needs.
"I firmly believe if we do that the business will be a great success.
"Our plan is to open a second shop at some point in the near future, which could be in the likes of Nantwich or Sandbach, depending how good trade is.
Since opening in Crewe, Radiance Personified has been rated very favourably online.
The business has a Google rating of five out of five stars, from 33 reviews.
Mr Reed added: "So far, all of our feedback has been very good. On Google, all our reviews have been five star. I can assure none of them had been made up either.
"Every single customer has a good thing to say and that is what we want, a quality service.
"We want to get to know people in the area and be on good terms with everyone. We have already made a lot of friends.
"Our current opening hours and could be subject to change, depending on demand from customers.
"It's exciting for us to have our own shop rather than working at home and we are just getting started."
Radiance Personified is currently open 10am until 8pm (Monday to Friday), 10am to 6pm (Saturday) and 10am until 4pm (Sunday).
