A football fan and the son of a Cheshire coffee business owner has come up with a recipe for success for youth football teams.

And the idea has so many carefully mixed ingredients that young entrepreneur, Jaime Evans, is sure it will be a massive hit nationally.

Cheshire-based Jaime has launched a football sponsorship business which literally takes the headache out of finding sponsors for football kits (Nub News).

And the community-minded father-of-two is hoping to be on target with not only parents and carers but also football clubs all over the country.

Jaime's father (right above) launched the successful Blackwater & Grubb, owners of 'The House' in Sandbach (Blackwater & Grubb).

Marketeer, Jaime, who lives in Elworth, Sandbach, launched Kitdeck after seeing the spiralling costs of football kits for youngsters.

He said: "I talked to a lot of teams and discovered some were struggling to find sponsors.

"Most sponsors come from parents of children in the team. I came up with the idea of not only sourcing sponsors but also getting them publicity."

He fears rising costs families are currently facing might prevent some children taking up the sport – something which worries him.

"It's important that young children are able to access local sport. Clubs can't grow without grass roots football," said Jaime.

Any logos or information can be put on to the football tops (Nub News).

"Funding a kit when your child joins a team can be difficult for some and with things they way they are, it could get worse."

Jaime, 34, is running the business from home in Clifton Road, Elworth and has already found great success.

"I am talking to clubs all over the country from Littlehampton in the south to St Helen's in the North West."

Blackwater & Grubb, owners of 'The House' coffee lounge in Sandbach, run by Jaime's father Peter Evans and Alex Demain, recently sponsored Winsford Over 3, Under 8s football team.

"It's a win, win situation," said Jaime, who has always been "community minded" and was a member of Sandbach Round Table.

"It's important that all children have access to sport and are able to play if they want to."

Jaime says there are many advantages to Kitdeck – increasing player participation, improving the physical and mental wellbeing of children and generating marketing assets.

And Jaime isn't planning to stop at football kits. He would also like to launch a sports range.

"That's in the future but it's something I'd like to do. For the time being though I want to find sponsors for youth grassroots football teams."

Taking a look at Kitdeck's impressive website HERE, it's clear to see that Jaime is on target with his business idea.
