McDonald's has revealed when it will be officially opening its third drive thru restaurant in Crewe, on land previously approved for Burger King.
The American chain will launch at The Market Shopping Centre Car Park, West Street, on Wednesday 27 March.
In January, McDonald's submitted a premises licence application to open 24 hours from the Crewe town centre site, seven days per week.
Work has been going on at the £1.4 million development since October 2023, with McDonald's outbidding Burger King for the car park last April.
The fast food giant acquired the land from Real Estate Investors (REI), originally targeting to open in "late 2023."

This opening date never materialised, with the development hitting a number of delays.
Now, McDonald's is on track for its end of March opening, becoming Crewe's most central drive thru restaurant.
Currently, McDonald's has sites on Macon Way and Dunwoody Way, with its town centre walk-in only store closing back in 2018 after 34 years.
